When does Hydrogen / headless make sense?
Hydrogen + Oxygen makes sense when you need fine-grained control over performance, content modeling (with Sanity / Contentful as the CMS), and the storefront has UI complexity that Shopify's theme system can't express cleanly. Below that bar, a well-built Online Store 2.0 theme is faster to ship and easier to maintain.
Can BRCG migrate us from WooCommerce or Magento to Shopify?
Yes. Platform migrations to Shopify preserve SEO equity (301 redirect maps), import order history, and re-activate customer accounts. Typical migration: 6–12 weeks depending on storefront complexity and product catalog size.
What's the difference between Functions and Scripts on Shopify Plus?
Functions are Shopify's modern replacement for Scripts — they're written in Rust or JavaScript, run at checkout, and enable custom discount, shipping, and payment logic. Scripts (the legacy Ruby-based system) is deprecated for new development.
Does BRCG handle CRO on Shopify?
Yes. BRCG runs continuous A/B testing on PDPs, cart, and checkout flows. We use Shopify's native A/B testing or an overlay platform (Eppo / GrowthBook) depending on test complexity and statistical-rigor requirements.
